Yorwin Yermain Peroza Martínez
Born in 1990, Venezuela.
Yorwin Yermain Peroza Martínez is a visual artist whose work approaches matter as an emotional landscape and a space of transformation. His practice stems from an intimate observation of human experience, exploring how rupture, tension, silence and renewal become inscribed upon the surface of the world.
Working with mixed media on MDF panels, he develops a language that blends gesture, texture and restraint. His approach is deeply influenced by the wabi-sabi philosophy, embracing the beauty of imperfection, impermanence and essentiality. His work investigates how material processes can reveal internal states and subtle emotional resonances without relying on figurative representation.
For over two years he has lived and worked in Inverness, Scotland, where he continues his visual research into fragility, memory and the human dimension.
